Cyclades' branch office management solutions are powerful, yet highly compact console servers used to connect serial devices to a TCP/IP network.
The Cyclades-TS100 and Cyclades-TS110 use their PowerPC dual CPUs to transfer data from their 10/100BT Ethernet interface to their RS-232/RS-485 (software selectable) serial interface and viceversa, enabling communication between the serial device and the network. All Cyclades' branch office management solutions support SSH v2 (Secure Shell) for a high degree of security in data connections.
Unlike other console server equipment designed with proprietary software technologies, the Cyclades-TS100 and Cyclades-TS110 leverage Embedded Linux and other Open Source software. Users have the flexibility and power to customize their operation, modifying or adding features as needed.
